Hanging shop sign set

A complete hanging sign: bracket, board, lettering layout and fixings plan, drawn for 6mm ply or 5mm cast acrylic.

Included

• 3 board shapes (rectangle, shield, oval) at 300 and 450mm wide
• Bracket in 6mm ply (laminated to 12mm) with a drilling template for the wall plate
• Lettering layout guides with baseline and safe-margin marks
• Chain and eyelet positions calculated so the board hangs level

Notes

The bracket is designed to be laminated from two layers of 6mm — the grain crosses, which is what stops it snapping at the elbow. Don't cut it from a single 12mm piece.

Cut-tested on LX2. Acrylic variants include a slightly different bracket, because acrylic does not forgive the same geometry.
